With powertrain and battery-assembly partner Thyssenkrupp Automation Engineering, Siemens cites improvements in code quality and development speed from its engineering copilot. Siemens' own marketing claims productivity gains of "up to 50%" for adopters — a ceiling figure from the vendor, not an independently audited industry average.
The so-what
Manufacturing is one of the newer frontiers for agentic AI, not a mature one yet — the named deployments so far are vendor case studies at Siemens' own sites and close partners, worth watching rather than treating as proof the pattern generalizes across the industry.
